Learn about the testimony of organizations that contribute to food safety

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that there are 600 million cases of foodborne illnesses globally every year, posing a threat to both health and economies. Consuming food free of any type of contamination is a concern for all parties involved.

 

To contribute to food safety, organizations can make use of strategic tools such as the FSSC 22000 or IRAM-NM-ISO 22000 scheme, as well as other certification programs such as GMP, HACCP and FSSC Development Program that allow a gradual implementation of management.

 

We talked to representatives of Mastellone, Establecimiento Las Marías, Patagonian Fruits, Citromax and General de Abastecimiento, who shared the advantages of having agri-food certifications, both within the organization and, mainly, for the consumers. Don’t miss it!
